Types of data processed

• Browsing data: the computer systems that host the website acquire, during their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols (IP addresses, access times, pages requested). This data is used solely to ensure the correct operation of the website and the security of the service.
• Data provided voluntarily: sending messages to the contact addresses shown on the website, or through the contact form (which prepares an email message using the user's mail program), involves the acquisition of the data needed to reply: name, email address and content of the message.

Purposes and legal basis

Data provided voluntarily is processed to respond to data subjects' requests (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and for the possible management of job applications (art. 111-bis of the Italian Privacy Code). Browsing data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest in the security and operation of the service (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Retention

Data is retained for the time strictly necessary to handle requests and, for job applications, for the time needed to evaluate the candidate profile.

Rights of data subjects

Data subjects may at any time exercise the rights set out in articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) by writing to segreteria@polisconsulting.it. This is without prejudice to the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante).
