With SAR satellite interferometry and a proprietary algorithm, we measure millimetre scale movements in buildings and land: schools, cultural heritage and critical infrastructure, monitored continuously from orbit and without ground sensors.
The European Space Agency's constellation of SAR satellites gathers information on the elevation and displacement of targets across the national territory. The data, processed through mathematical models of the terrain, makes it possible to track, with millimetre precision and in every direction, the movements of the ground and the buildings involved.
This monitoring makes it possible to prevent hazardous situations and to intervene promptly and cost effectively wherever necessary.
The system is suited to large scale surveys covering school buildings, prestige properties, cultural and archaeological heritage, and critical infrastructure. Access to the historical database makes it possible to reconstruct the dynamics of subsidence, the impact of underground works and hydrogeological risk analyses.
